There it goes. The penny has dropped. There's a part of him that still feels just a little bad about this.
But most of him thinks this part is terribly, TERRIBLY FUN.
"Oh, Georg," he purrs, his tone dark, as sharp as his fangs. "I could be a lot of things. I'm a lost traveler in the night. I'm a novelty. Maybe I'm even a test from whatever God you pray to...one that it seems like you've failed." His hands grip Georg's wrists tight, tight, tighter.
"Mostly, though...I'm starving. And I do feel a bit badly about this. You seem like such a good, honest man."
