So she completely understands Alfred's hesitance to participate in this event, but with Phil's assistance, she's helped encourage her beloved demon to have fun and celebrate his newfound identity and acceptance by displaying his talents at the drag show. He has so much to offer, it would be a shame to let this opportunity go to waste~
Which is why she's spent a good portion of the last few days trying to battle his worries telling him things like "It's all in good fun," and "Literally everyone present is there celebrating gayness," "No one is going to judge you for wearing a dress," and the like, ad nauseum. Now that they're actually here, she's doubling down on her stance, emboldened by the positively electric energy in the city during this celebration. It's been so long since she's seen this many people enjoying themselves; the whole city needed this. Especially Alfred. [Finishing up the last clasp on his garter, she rests her hands upon his hips, careful not to get her claws caught up in the fishnet (again). Seras grins up at him from her place on the bed, tail swaying behind her as she takes in this most pleasant view. She can already tell this is gonna make one hell of a memory for her.]
So, ah... What next? Corset or skirt? Or... wait, should we do makeup before or after we get you dressed all the way?
When he first arrived, he was a timid thing. He hid himself. He stuffed feelings down deep, just as he had always been taught. A man. Be a man. Strong, and tough, and don't cry and don't be too feminine. Just like his Father had been. Be less of a disappointment.
And he would have never believed it, back then, the position he has found himself in now. Looking down at a woman who he loves very, very much, getting ready for an event started by a MAN he loves very, very much...standing capably on a pair of stiletto heels.
Still, he fidgets a little, his smile sheepish and his cheeks reddening and his heart hammering in his chest.]

[His tail lashes behind him a moment before circling his ankles - a tell that Seras would no doubt know by now. He's feeling shy.]
Ah...s-skirt, maybe? The corset should sit over it, and...and I might as well get acclimated to that before makeup. I think. Oh...I don't know, Seras. Do you really think it'll look all right?
[Seras draws her hands up along his sides as she stands, over his ribs and his chest, coming to rest on either side of his neck, thumbs stroking along the curve of his jaw as she pulls herself against him.]
Yes, darling. [A little, gentle smooch.] You're absolutely drop dead gorgeous; I could barely take my eyes off you during rehearsal. You're gonna have everyone's attention. I bet they won't even know what t'do with themselves.
[She says this like she has personal experience in the matter. Even if he wasn't a being of demonic lust, he'd likely still be turning heads in this getup anyway. He sure did get her attention when he came to her with this outfit the first time. It hasn't left her mind all week.]

[The touches are soothing - his sigh is shaky as he leans in to her, but his smile becomes something just a little bit less pensive. His own warm hands rest on her shoulders, lightly rubbing thumbs in idle little circles.]

[He lets out a breathless chuckle.]

[He plants a soft kiss before backing up a little, his tail slithering outward to hook the red and black mounds of bustle skirt and pull the garment closer on the bed.]
What is the saying? Nothing ventured, nothing gained?
[Her ears turn and flatten at the mention of his father, bristling visibly for only a moment until he tempers her with that admission. It's heartbreaking that he can't trust his father, but it means the world to know that he has that kind of faith in her. So much of his world wouldn't accept this from him, and in the world she comes from, it's hard to imagine even the average girl being this supportive of her boyfriend's journey "to the other side" without significant hangups. The difference is that Seras understands that "Pride" isn't about her, it's about him, dammit. And she's damn proud of her beloved finding himself here and his dad can eat a brick--]
[But she's not going to say any of that, she's just going to wag triumphantly while she takes her seat and that skirt from his tail so she can gather the fabric and hold it open at his feet for him to step in whenever he's ready.]
Exactly, and look what you've gained in just a year's time~ You keep a lovely home, you provide for your partners, you've learned so many new skills and perfected your old ones--
[She glances up at him with a smile, only to be struck by... some realization as she sputters and quickly lowers her head again.]
--ah, haha-- you're just. [Clearing her throat politely.] Hm. You've. come so far, and I'm so, so proud of you, Alfred.
[It's sweet, what she's saying - and he can't really say in earnest that it isn't true. He works very hard, and he has a lot to show for it...and if he's being really honest? He's kind of proud of himself, too. Sucking in a long breath, he steps into the skirt.
But that little sputter, the downturn of the head; his sweet smile falters only a little at the edges, his hand sliding from her shoulder to the side of her face. He could ask, he could press, but - he knows her, he knows she'll say it's nothing.
So instead?]
But...I couldn't have come this far without you, you know.
[The warmth of his sentiment fills her with a sense of pride in herself as well, pinking her cheeks as she peers up at him through her mess of golden fringe. She leans into his touch, nuzzling into the palm of his hand with a contented hum as her tail wags behind her, swishing faster against the satin sheets.]
I'm... so glad to've been here for it.
[She lifts a hand to cover the one cradling her cheek, closing her eyes.]
But you still did it on your own. You're so much stronger than you give yourself credit for, love.
[It's a good show that they haven't done his makeup yet - he can feel himself getting a bit weepy at her words, his skin warm under her touch. Bright ruby eyes peer down at her, full of adoration, wonder at his luck...love.
He leans in to steal another little kiss, his voice very soft as he replies against her lips:]
Danke, schatzi. I'm beginning to believe it.
[But they're here to do something - so with a little laugh at himself, he straightens a little, his tail flicking up to straighten out the hem of the skirts.]
