Alfred definitely hears the crack, but for now, he's not going to worry about it. It isn't the first headboard they have broken, and it certainly will not be the last.
The grinding is met with strong upthrusts, and he relishes the sound of Herbert's shuddering groan, the clench around him, the sudden spill through his fingers. He spares a glance downward, seeing the mess dribbling down the front of the corset -
And that's all it takes to send him off, too, gasping Herbert's name as he twitches and tenses until he's panting and resting his flushed cheek against Herbert's soft blonde hair.
He doesn't say anything, not yet, just...basking in the feeling of the two of them still so entangled together, hard to tell where he ends and where Herbert begins.
Herbert can't help it. He laughs in joy, smearing a kiss against the side of Alfred's face. He braces both hands against the mattress on either side of Alfred's shoulders, slumping forward against him. Exhausted but so, so pleased.
"That was -- incredible. Oh my love, you can order me around any time you like."
The laugh is met with a giggle of Alfred's own - he wraps his arms around his lover, holding him there for extra support, still trembling lightly from all the exertion.
"I have - no idea where that came from," he finally admits, grinning a crooked grin. "But it - it felt - really-" He reddens a bit. "You really liked it? Me talking to you like...like that?"
